Development of packaging
In today’s world, the outlook and construction of the packaging are of key importance for success on the market. The development of the packaging starts with the customer’s initial idea about the outlook or with a concrete suggestion connected with size, weight, type of product and market positioning. You don’t have an idea? No problem, bring us your product and our technologists will prepare suitable solutions and use their rich knowledge and experience to advise you about the suitable packaging, materials, print and details, which will make your packaging different from the competition. To help you decide, we provide samples cut on the Lasercomb plotter.
For production of the packaging, we can use all types of cartondboard, from the best quality GZ and GC materials, GD, liner, to all types of corrugated board. For prestige promotion or gift packaging, we can also use special paper and cartonboard.
Many years of experience and knowledge as well as individual treatment ensure you optimal solutions at any moment, while the final decision is up to you. The studies have shown that the first 7 seconds are of crucial importance for the purchase – the time when the customer passes the shelves in a store. Graphic – Prepress preparation
All received designs in our Repro-Studio are processed before printing. We also verify the compatibility of preparation with further technological procedures.
We implement the following procedures:
- Reception of files (FTP servers, e-mail)
- Preview of received files (separation, resolution, geometry: bar codes, addition for bleeding, color exemption, date fields …),
- Layout of design on the tool geometry for one folding box,
- Sending for confirmation,
- Composition of the print form,
- Making print and proof forms
- Making of best proof
- Preparation of files for clichés, (hot foil print)
Finished designs
- We accept open files in the programs Adobe CS4. (Ilustrator, Indesign, PhotoShop)
- with open files you need to attach all linked files (links) and the used typography.
- We accept ready-made design in the formats pdf version 1,4, eps or tif.
- For correct transfer of all the elements of the design, the pictures and colors must be in CMYK, in format tif or pdf.
- Black color of the print should be defined as 100% black, and grey color as the desired percentage of black.
- The pictures must have a resolution of at least 300 dpi.
- Design that exceeds the edges needs to have 3 mm bleed for cartonboard and 5 mm bleed for laminated packaging.
- Make sure to correctly define the overprints.
Unfinished designs (materials for design)
We accept text in doc format (MS Word).
The logos must be delivered in vector form, colors in CMYK in eps format.
The pictures need to be in formats tif and jpg (not in MS Word or gif).
